Art for Kids (AFK)
The purpose of Art for Kids is to benefit children through art education, enrichment, and philanthropy through partnerships with Downtown Miami Charter School, Alex's Place, Nicklaus Children's Hospital, and others. Art for Kids conducts regular volunteering visits to these organizations and hosts Art Studios to create artwork for our semi-annual Charity Art Sale on campus. Art for Kids strives to foster leadership and encourage creativity and service at the University of Miami for students and the community.
While the names of groups, topics, or titles on this page may reflect the backgrounds or experiences of community members at the University of Miami who founded those groups, and planned or organized those events, our organizations and activities are open to all.
