Exploring Alternatives to High-Stakes Proctored Tests
This one-hour session will highlight alternatives to high-stakes proctored tests, employed within online, hybrid and face-to-face courses. We will include an introduction to designing authentic assessments that will fit within the context of your course, and demonstrate evidence of student learning. Other topics of discussion will include strategies for open-book examinations and ensuring academic integrity. This is hosted by Renee Evans and Gemma Henderson, Sr. Instructional Designers from Learning Innovation and Faculty Engagement (Academic Technologies).
