About this Event
The FPL SolarTogether program, which is one of the nation’s largest solar energy programs, provides organizations like the University of Miami, the opportunity to help reduce energy costs and achieve sustainability goals – on its journey to Carbon Neutrality. Join us on a tour of FPL’s Miami-Dade Solar Energy Center in SW Miami-Dade. Spots are limited and first come, first served. Address and additional details including carpooling option will be provided in a confirmation email once you RSVP. Note: Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, safety glasses) will be provided by FPL at the site. You must wear long pants and flat, closed-toe shoes for our safety. There are no restrooms on the site. Please plan accordingly.
