About this Event
USTAAR provides mentoring and direct capital investment in student-led startups at the University of Miami. Through a highly competitive process, the program invests up to $100,000 in student ideas. The first cohort of 10 student teams received an initial $10K capital, and their startups represent industries ranging from med tech, sports, agriculture, AI, and education.
USTAAR's first Demo Day and Pitch Competition will be held on September 26th between 3-6 pm on the Coral Gables campus to get the teams to the next round of funding, mentoring, and growth with potential seed funding awards of $100K.
