Join us for the Senior Mwambo Ceremony, a longstanding University of Miami tradition that honors the achievements and heritage of our graduates and their families.
“Mwambo” means a ceremonial rite of passage. Established in 1992 by Patrick A. Masala, an international student from Malawi in East Africa, this meaningful celebration recognizes community, culture, and the transition into advanced studies and professional life.
