Since 2013 University of Miami and Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) have partnered to match local high school students with mentors. By investing only four hours per month during the work week, UM mentors make a positive and lasting impact on the life of a child. The main focus of the program is to help students graduate from high school, build critical life skills, and gain practical exposure to the workplace.
During these interactive sessions, you'll learn about the program from Big Brothers Big Sisters representatives and UM mentors and hear how to get involved in creating a culture of belonging on and off campus.
