Sports Administration students, as part of the Simon Scholars Program, pitch a corporate sponsorship package to a panel of sports industry judges. This challenge is designed to develop skills in strategy, negotiation, innovation, and persuasive communication within the sports business environment.
In this individual competition, Simon Fellows act as sales representatives for a professional women’s sports property. Participants must research, design, and present a compelling sponsorship proposal aimed at securing a new corporate partner. After the presentation, judges engage participants in an interactive Q&A to test their strategic thinking, business assumptions, and ability to respond to real-world sales objections.
Top performing students are awarded with externship opportunities in the sports industry.
