The new Stamps Brass Quintet expands the illustrious Stamps scholarship program with an ambitious and fabulously eclectic debut concert. Program includes Bach’s irresistible Little Fugue in G Minor; Leonard Bernstein’s quirkily brilliant final composition, Dance Suite; brass classics by Malcolm Arnold and Victor Ewald; and Stamps student arrangements of – wait for it – Britney Spears’ hit Toxic (covers of which are a viral online favorite) and Bjork’s haunting overture to the film Dancer in the Dark.
