About this Event
What if the spaces we inhabit could actively support our well-being?
In this inspiring session, we explore how neuroarchitecture and holistic design converge to shape environments that nurture the mind, body, and spirit. By bridging the gap between scientific data and our own intuitive responses, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how we truly experience the spaces around us.
We will discover how design elements and composition influence how we feel, think, and connect. Participants will walk away with practical, easy-to-implement tips to create a more balanced, harmonious lifestyle. This talk is an invitation to observe your surroundings with greater intention - creating environments that don't just support us but help us heal.
Presenter Aimee Lopez has been teaching Interior Design classes at the University of Miami Certificate Program since 2016 and has served as the Lead Professor of the Interior Design Program from 2020 -2025.
Aimee's passion for interior design and teaching is guided by a deeper purpose: to raise awareness of how the spaces we inhabit influence our well-being— physically, cognitively, and emotionally. As the founder of the Holistic Interiors Design Community, she advocates for integrating interior design principles with neuroscience, environmental psychology, and human-centered design to create a holistic practice that supports all dimensions of wellness. This perspective continues to evolve through her current Master’s studies in Neuroarchitecture, where she explores the relationship between the built environment, the brain, and human behavior.
