About this Event
Social media has recently become part of people's daily activities; many of us spending hours each day on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and other popular platforms. Attend this Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) webinar to discover the role social media plays on mental health. While many of us enjoy staying connected via social media, excessive use can fuel feelings of anxiety, depression, and isolation. Explore how you, or someone you know, can use it in a healthier way. This webinar will be facilitated by a UM FSAP consultant. FSAP Health and Wellness webinars are offered as part of the University of Miami’s Well ’Canes Program. Attend to receive 100 Pure Wellness points (to a maximum total of 300 points for FSAP 1-hour webinar attendance per calendar year).
