 in the design and development of more sustainable\, livable\, and resilien
 t cities\, the University of Miami brings cutting-edge research in urban p
 lanning\, architecture\, and engineering in alignment with computational r
 esources and analytical methods. The annual Smart Cities MIAMI Conference 
 is an extension of these efforts\, providing a forum for leaders in academ
 ia\, industry\, and government to closely examine evolving theories and pr
 actices in the Smart City field. The topics considered vary in scope and n
 ature within a general theme that is particularly relevant for each year.\
 n\n \n\nSmart Cities MIAMI 2023 takes place on Thursday and Friday\, March
  30-31 and will consider the impact of climate change and its related stre
 ssors on South Florida and will focus on opportunities enabled by smart-ci
 ty technology for enhancing resilience\, from responsive infrastructure to
