Please join us online for Slow Looking with the Lowe, a program to celebrate International Museum Day. Tola Porter, PhD, the Lowe’s Museum Educator for Academic and Public Programs, will lead participants through a 30-minute interactive engagement with two works of art. Experience the feelings of calm, centeredness, and insight that come with engaging with art beyond the typical seconds-long attention span. No prior art history knowledge is required, just a willingness to enjoy an antidote to the customary hasty looking to which we all succumb.
