This seminar will discuss the “nuts and bolts” of resume preparation, interviewing, and networking techniques in preparing for a scientific or clinical job in the private sector.
About Frank M. Perez, PhD
Dr. Perez is a native New Yorker who grew up on the upper west side “streets” of Manhattan. After serving in the Vietnam War, he pursued academic interests in psychology and biology and earned a BA degree at City College of New York. He conducted research in endocrinology at the graduate level and earned a PhD in biomedical sciences at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Perez then conducted postdoctoral research and held faculty positions for 12 years before transitioning into the pharmaceutical industry. He entered Pharma as a medical science liaison (MSL) and advanced to direct MSL teams. He has served in this capacity for more than 20 years and continues to mentor medical professionals who want to advance their careers and realize potentials
