Join the Sarasota ’Canes at Siesta Beach for a beach clean-up. As volunteers, we will be on Litter Patrol in and around Siesta Beach, the Playground, and parking/sidewalk areas. Gloves, pickers, and bags will be provided to all volunteers. Let's come together to make a collective, meaningful impact on our world.
What to Bring/Wear
- A refillable water bottle
- Apply sunscreen before arriving
- Wear a hat for protection
- Wear comfortable, close-toed shoes that can get dirty

Earth Day 2024 – Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources theme, Planet vs. Plastics, calls to advocate for widespread awareness of the health risks of plastics, rapidly phase out all single-use plastics, urgently push for a strong UN Treaty on Plastic Pollution, and demand an end to fast fashion. This Earth Day, do your part. We all can make positive changes for this amazing planet we call Earth.
