Sharing Excess is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit fighting food insecurity by redistributing surplus food to local communities. Join us as we pack and load fresh produce for organizations serving families across the region!

Assemble and load carts of produce boxes for local organizations

Work in teams to prepare deliveries for 20+ community partners

Engage with fellow alumni and make a real impact in West Philly

Please dress comfortably in clothing you can move around in and wear closed-toed shoes. This volunteer opportunity does involve lifting and carrying boxes of food that can be up to 40-50lbs.
