Great teaching starts with pedagogy.
Now that you know where the buttons and knobs are, how can you use Canvas to support and supplement your teaching? In this session, you'll learn to start from what your course and your students need and choose the features that support those goals. Topics include structuring content so students always know what's next, closing communication gaps between class sessions, using low-stakes assessment and fast feedback to catch struggling students early, and supporting deeper student engagement outside of class time. You'll leave with specific, practical changes you can make in your own courses.

Format: 1-hour interactive, discussion-based session
