The University of Miami School of Law invites foreign-trained lawyers to an information session about the study and practice of law in the United States. Learn answers to common questions from foreign lawyers: • What is the difference between an LL.M., a J.D. and an S.J.D.? Which option is best for me? • Can I use my foreign law degree to practice law in the United States, including in Florida? • What is the bar exam in the U.S., and what do I need to do to take it? • Are there options for improving my English before beginning the LL.M. Program?
