Join the Palm Beach County ’Canes for the 2023 ’Canes Day of Service at Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue in Royal Palm Beach!
Once per year, the 'Canes get together to give back to our communities in a day of service. This year we are volunteering at Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue to share our ’Canes Spirt and to connect more deeply with our community.
Our event runs from 10 AM to 12 PM, and ’Canes are welcome to volunteer longer if desired. Our Alumni, Supporters, and Friends will socialize with the Rescue Animals, walk, exercise, and clean them, help organize and clean the puppy rooms, and help with data entry for some of the newest rescues.
We look forward to your participation and helping this no-kill shelter continue to serve Palm Beach County!
Those who register will receive a ’Canes Day of Service t-shirt (sizes not guaranteed.)
Registration is limited to 30 volunteers. If you register and are unable to participate, please email palmbeachcanes@miami.edu.
All in-person events will be hosted in accordance with the latest CDC guidelines, local government regulations, and/or University guidelines, all subject to change due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver to participate. We request everyone also agree to an optional social media photography agreement for the event.
