Bring your family and join the Palm Beach County 'Canes Community for a guided, easy-paced hike through the Northern Everglades on our Cypress Boardwalk Trail. Along the way, you’ll discover the unique history and ecology of Grassy Waters Preserve.
Come prepared with comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen and a refillable water bottle. All ages are welcome (kids must be accompanied with a particating adult). Light bites to be provided.
Grassy Waters Preserve
A 23-square-mile wetlands ecosystem that serves as the freshwater supply for the City of West Palm and the towns of South Palm Beach and Palm Beach Island. Historically, Grassy Waters was both a key component of the Greater Everglades watershed and the headwaters of the Northwest Fork of the Loxahatchee River.
