Tim Tate’s glass and mixed media artworks blend traditional craft with new media technology to advance his artistic narratives as well as human rights. From a childhood fascination with Jules Verne to his development of pictogram-like contemporary hieroglyphics, Tate’s mixed media sculptures entice us with recognizable form to deliver powerful activist messages in art.
