This event serves as a solemn tribute to honor those we have lost to overdose, while shedding light on the importance of prevention and support. We have an inspiring lineup of guest speakers who will share their personal stories and insights. Mayor Daniella Levine Cava will present a proclamation acknowledging the significance of this day. Fflorida State Senator Jason Pizzo will speak and inspire us to take action. As the evening sets in, we will gather for a poignant candlelight vigil, symbolizing unity and remembrance. As we honor lives lost to drug overdose, the lake and Shalala Student Center will light up purple.
