Please join us for a lecture followed by an opening reception to celebrate the exhibition Translating Place: Brooklyn - Albuquerque - Miami, Photographs by Claudio Nolasco. The artist, who is also a professor at the University of Miami, will present an overview of his artistic practice as a post-documentary fine art photographer. The overview will be followed by a Q&A session led by Lowe Art Museum Assistant Curator Dr. John Witty to guide audience members through the three bodies of work presented in the exhibition, all of which are places where the artist has made his home and found inspiration for his photography.
