Nucleate is a student-run, non-profit organization with the mission to empower the next generation of life science leaders by educating today's academic trainees. It is the largest biotechnology organization of its kind, with 28 chapters and participation from over 150 academic institutions globally. The Nucleate Florida chapter was founded by University of Miami students in 2022 and has grown to consist of over 15 leadership members from univeristies throughout the state of Florida. Our Activator Program is a 6-month program designed for next-generation bioentrepreneurs, nanely graduate students and post-docs hoping to strengthen their strategic startup plans with the assistance of industry mentors and experts. Our 2024 Activator is the first iteration of the Activator for the Florida chapter and currently has three participating teams.
