In celebration of Art Basel Miami, the Department of Art and Art History presents New Works, an exhibition showcasing the artwork of Master of Fine Arts candidates. Featuring a diverse range of mediums, including printmaking, ceramics, painting, and photography, the exhibition highlights the creativity of emerging artists.
This year’s exhibition is presented in collaboration with Miami International Fine Arts. Join us for the opening reception on Thursday, December 4th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The MFA program is a rigorous 60-credit, three-year curriculum that culminates in a terminal degree, equipping students for careers in the professional studio art world and qualifying them for college teaching positions. This highly competitive program attracts applicants from across the nation and around the globe.
