About this Event
Michael Banhidi survived the Nazis in a ghetto in Hungary, then was sent to a prison in Russia during the Hungarian revolution in 1956. From the Nazis in the 40’s through the Communists in the 1950’s and 60’s, he has quite a survival experience. We invite you to hear Michael's story-- to remember the horrors of what humans are capable of when they forget the humanity of us all-- and to honor the shocking rise in antisemitism that has recently captured the world and is still rampant, even in the U.S.
