ABOUT WIKIPEDIA EDIT-A-THONS
Edit-a-thons are organized events where people get together to edit Wikipedia pages. This particular edit-a-thon will honor National Hispanic Heritage Month.
Wikipedia biographies have significant gaps in representation, especially when it comes to Hispanic individuals. This event aims to celebrate and elevate the stories of Hispanic people, highlighting their contributions across history, culture, science, politics, and beyond. By expanding and improving Wikipedia articles, participants will help ensure that Hispanic voices and achievements are more fully recognized and accessible to all.
