 udly presents IL Carico del Tratteggio by Monia Meluzzi. Join us on Thursd
 ay\, April 9\, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM for the opening reception at the Unive
 rsity of Miami Gallery @ The Chapel.\nIL Carico del Tratteggio is an exhib
 ition dedicated to the trace of the line. Using the\nmetaphor of emotional
  weight carried from life experiences during an existential journey. This 
 accumulation of emotions materializes through the repetition of lines\, cr
 eating volume\, depth\, and shadow. The exhibition guides the audience thr
 ough sketches\, sculptures\, and video-installations made with recycled ma
 terials such as paper\, cardboard\, wood\, silk screen fabric\, and thread
 s.\nABOUT THE ARTIST \n\n \n\nMonia Meluzzi is an Italian artist born in R
 imini\, Italy. After obtaining her diploma from art school at Liceo Artist
 ico A. Serpieri in her hometown\, she continued her education in the Unite
 d States\, earning a BFA from Florida International University in 2022.\n\
 n \n\nOver the course of her career\, Meluzzi has participated in several 
 group exhibitions in Miami. Her most recent exhibitions include MIFA Miami
  International Fine Arts (2025)\, the Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition
  at the Lowe Art Museum (2024)\, Converging Plateaus at the Museum of Cont
 emporary Art of the Americas (MOCAA) (2024)\, Art Basel Wynwood at the Uni
 versity of Miami Gallery (2023)\, ProjectArt x MOCA Popup at the Museum of
  Contemporary Art (2023)\, El Ancho Mar Que Nos Separa at the Laundromat A
 rt Space (2022)\, Emergent at Miami Beach Urban Studios (2022)\, and Stone
  House Centennial at the Deering Estate (2022).\n\n \n\nIL Carico del Trat
