Self-compassion is the ability to comfort and soothe ourselves during times of suffering. When it emerges from the heart of mindfulness, these two powerful attributes work to form a state of connected presence during the difficult times in our lives. Embracing self-compassion helps us to become more resilient and motivates us to thrive. Participants will be guided through a meditation practice. Attend to awaken your innate capacity for mindful living and nurture a practice to positively inspire every facet of your life. This webinar will be facilitated by a UM FSAP consultant. FSAP Health and Wellness webinars are offered as part of the University of Miami’s Well ’Canes Program. Attend to receive 100 Pure Wellness points (to a maximum total of 400 points for FSAP 1-hour webinar attendance per calendar year).
