Join the Miami Law Innocence Alliance for a powerful panel in honor of Wrongful Conviction Day. Three exonerees—Stephanie Spurgeon, Paul Hildwin, and Sidney Holmes—will share their personal journeys through wrongful conviction, incarceration, and eventual exoneration. Their stories shed light on the devastating impact of miscarriages of justice and the resilience it takes to rebuild life after freedom.
The conversation will be moderated by Craig Trocino, Director of the Miami Law Innocence Clinic, who will guide a discussion on the systemic issues that lead to wrongful convictions and the urgent need for reform.
This event is an opportunity to hear directly from those most affected, learn about the innocence movement, and reflect on the role law students, lawyers, and community members can play in advancing justice.
