Join us for a night of world premieres! Henry Mancini Institute's Artistic Director Maria Schneider returns to celebrate Earth Day with Frost student composers and the Mancini Fellows. Under the baton of Scott Flavin, new works will be premiered in a multi-media setting, showcasing the connection between music and the ground-breaking research taking place at the University of Miami. Two of the new works are inspired by the atmospheric and ecological research taking place at the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science.
This concert features compositions by members of the Studio Jazz Writing Program directed by Steve Guerra.
Pre-registration and Payment are required to attend in person.
