Come hike Powder Canyon & Schabarum Loop with the LA and OC ’Canes!
This loop through Powder Canyon takes you through some beautiful woodland areas and scenic shaded switchbacks. It will be a beginner's paced hike. If you're looking for a little bit of a hiking challenge but don't want to be worried about being that person who slows down a more advanced group - this is the perfect hike for you. We're a friendly, casual, "want to get back in shape" crowd.
We'll meet at 9:00 AM and depart promptly at 9:10 AM.
PARKING: Free parking along Fullerton Road.
MEETING SPOT: We'll meet at the trail map sign located right behind the gray gate (water utility buildings are nearby). Look for Venus in the orange "U" hat.
POINT OF CONTACT: Please text or call/leave a message for Venus (424-999-5797) if you can't find us or run into any problems meeting us that day.
WHAT TO BRING: drinking water, hat and/or sunblock, and comfortable shoes with good traction.
