About this Event
Francesco Maura, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine, will present as part of the Sylvester Junior Faculty Lecture Series: Over the last years, our collaborative network has identified several genomic drivers associated with aggressive disease and resistance to different anti-multiple myeloma therapies, including immunotherapy. With advancements in bioinformatic pipelines and the decreasing costs of whole-genome sequencing, we are now at a groundbreaking juncture where profiling the genomic landscape of each patient is becoming feasible and can be used to guide therapy selection, leading to more personalized and effective treatments.
