Ensemble Ibis welcomes the return of pianist and Frost alumnus Jacob Mason as the featured soloist in an exciting program of new works for piano and ensemble including the premiere of Frost faculty composer Dorothy Hindman’s new piano concerto “Untitled III” written for Mason and Ensemble Ibis. Also featured will be 2023 Frost Distinguished Composer-in-Residence Matthias Pintscher’s “NUR” for piano and ensemble as well as Ensemble Ibis Frost Composition Competition winner Chawin Termsittichok’s new work written for Ensemble Ibis.
