About this Event
The University of Miami Office of Faculty Affairs has teamed up with DeValk & Associates, Inc. to Offer Interactive Theatre on Building Diverse and Inclusive Relationships. Trained actors present scenes based in real-life scenarios. In this interactive theatre you will:
- foster a greater awareness of diversity in others and ourselves
- look for unconscious bias and micro-inequalities and their impact on relationships
- consider the consequence of mismanaged diversity
- increase our comfort level with some of the challenging faces and emotions that surface with diversity and inclusion
