In honor of Banned Books week, the annual event to celebrate the freedom to read and raise awareness of censorship issues, the Cosford Cinema will hold screenings of film adaptations of books on the list every Friday evening in October.
Admission to all screenings is free but advance registration required.

7:30 p.m. Oct. 6: "The Hate U Give" (2018)
7:30 p.m. Oct. 13: "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" (2012)
8 p.m. Oct. 20: "The Outsiders" (1983)
