  include:\n\n-facts and features of tropical cyclones\n-what to expect and
  how to stay safe before\, during\, and after a storm\n-tips and informati
 on for better understanding forecasting information released by the Nation
 al Hurricane Center\n-concrete steps and best practices for being prepared
  for hurricanes both at home and at work\n-University emergency preparedne
 ss information\n-Question & Answer section\n\nWhile we understand that thi
 s information is most important for those persons who may not have experie
 nce with considering the effect of hurricanes and tropical storms or how b
 est to prepare and respond\, we also stress that this training is appropri
 ate for all levels of experience with hurricanes and strongly recommend it
  to everyone.  Each class offers the opportunity for brief discussion of p
 revious experiences and tips/best practices learned from those who have be
 en through previous storms.  There are many things we can learn from each 
 other in order to become a more resilient community.   All faculty\, staff
