Our 3rd session:
3. Stimulation of the Senses Through Design Elements (Part 2) (July 15, 2025)
In this session, we will explore the senses of hearing, smell, and touch. Learn how acoustics, scents, and textures influence mental and emotional states. Review tips to incorporate environmental psychology insights when designing spaces that optimize vital energy and enhance a positive mood.
Our 4th and last session:
4. Practical Applications for Well-Being in Your Spaces (TBD)
In this last session, we will summarize holistic design principles, offering hands-on guidance on how you may consciously design your home or office to enhance well-being with practical tips for aligning spaces with your vital energy and wellness goals.
Presenter Aimee Lopez has been teaching Interior Design classes at the University of Miami Certificate Program since 2016 and has served as the Lead Professor of the Interior Design Program since 2020. In 2024, she launched the "Holistic Interior Design Workshop: Design for Wellness: Yourself, Health, and Design."
Aimee Lopez’s passions are interior design and teaching. Her mission is to raise awareness of the influence and role of interior spaces in enhancing well-being. She believes spaces where we live, work, and learn should prioritize healthy lifestyles, meaningful experiences, and a personal-centric view.
As the founder of the Holistic Interiors Design Community, Aimee integrates interior design principles with psychology and neuroscience research.
