Dr. Tuesta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. His research focuses on the neurobiological and epigenetic mechanisms of substance use disorders. He uses molecular, behavioral, and computational approaches to understand how we go from taking drugs to feel “good” to taking drugs to feel “normal".
