Please join your New York 'Canes for Frost Jazz in NYC to enjoy our very own Frost Septet and Alumni Big Band at Dizzy's Club.
The Frost Septet is the premier jazz ensemble at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, comprised of graduate students and top-level undergraduate seniors. This group has won multiple DownBeat Student Music Awards and has represented the Frost School at conferences and events throughout the country. The Frost Septet has been invited to appear at many festivals and conferences over the past ten years, garnering multiple outstanding Soloist awards. Numerous guest artists have performed with the group, including Kenny Barron, Dave Holland, Carl Allen, John Fedchock, Alan Ferber, and Chris Potter.
The Frost Septet's latest release - Now and Then - has garnered multiple awards and features Grammy-winner and Frost faculty member Gonzalo Rubalcaba
Register (link above) for the 7:30 PM and/or 9:30 PM set to enjoy a complimentary reception in between performances, courtesy of your University of Miami Alumni Association's New York ’Canes Community.
*NOTE: Tickets to the performance are required and must be purchased separately through the Jazz at Lincoln Center (link below).
STUDENT PERFORMANCE TICKETS
Book your tickets via the link below for the student performances with showtimes at 7:30 PM or 9:30 PM. All guests must purchase tickets online for Dizzy’s Club in advance through the Jazz at Lincoln Center.
