The Frost Flute Ensemble will perform the world premiere of Oxygen, by Pulitzer Prize for Music winner Julia Wolfe. The program also includes the first live performance of Passacaglia, by Jessie Montgomery, the Mead Composer-in-Residence of the Chicago Symphony, and selections by Peter Schickele, called “a latter-day Haydn,” by The New Yorker; Diego Vega, and Nathan Tanouye, Celine Dion’s trombonist, arranger, and orchestrator.
