https://miami.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_EmQwusMpTj26UUgNZSU8cAThis workshop will provide an overview of how Beckman Coulter flow cytometry platforms can be used for the analysis of extracellular vesicles (EVs). The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC) Flow Cytometry Shared Resource has a Beckman Coulter CytoFLEX SRT benchtop sorter that is available for investigator-sorting. The Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) Flow Cytometry Core Facility has a MoFlo Astrios EQ Cell Sorter from Beckman Coulter and a Beckman Coulter CytoFLEX cell analyzer.
Three morning seminars (9:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT) will cover the biology, purification, and detection of EVs. Please register online here for these seminars. There will be two afternoon hands-on instrument and software demonstrations (1:00-3:00 pm and 2:00-4:00 pm EDT). Each demo session will be limited to 9 attendees (participants should bring their own laptop). Please contact Shannon Saigh at sjsaigh@med.miami.edu to sign up for a demo session.
