Hosted by the University of Miami Office of Civic and Community Engagement and the George P. Hanley Democracy Center.
In the aftermath of September 11th, more than 5,000 New Yorkers gathered for one of the largest public forums in American history to weigh in on how Ground Zero should be rebuilt. This documentary tells the story of that process and its lasting impact on the site today.
Join us for light refreshments, a screening of the film, and a moderated discussion with producer Robbie Shinder and Dr. Gregory Koger, Director of the George P. Hanley Democracy Center.
