About this Event
Writing is a core aspect of our lives as faculty members. Yet, it can be challenging and isolating. Faculty Writing Communities can strengthen our writing routines and productivity, while expanding support, networks, and sense of community.
As summer starts, please join fellow faculty members for a session to:
- Reflect upon writing
- Learn about types of writing communities and how they can help faculty
- Identify writing, scholarship, and productivity resources available at the University of Miami
- Obtain guidance, support, and connections to start your own writing community, including around affinity groups, for example: early career, parents of young children, LGBTQ+, interdisciplinary, climate change scholars, and more
