About this Event
Florida Alliance for Assistive Services and Technology (FAAST) is Florida’s FREE assistive technology (AT) program. Assistive Services are any service that directly assists an individual with a disability in the selection, acquisition, or use of an assistive technology device. An AT device is any item, piece of equipment or product system used to increase or improve functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities. The services of FAAST aim to improve the quality of life for Floridians with disabilities by increasing access to assistive technology through empowerment and collaboration.
This FAAST Program is open to all staff and faculty. It is brought to you by the FAAST Team and Human Resources Office of Workplace Equity and Inclusion.
This event is an elective in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate Program and is eligible to earn up to 75 Well Canes incentive points. Learn more and register for Disabilities in the Workplace Awareness Month events.
