EdTech Cafe: Basic & Advanced Blackboard
About this Event
This month, we will be holding two sessions of EdTech Café. Day 1 (April 20th) will focus on the basics of Blackboard Original including topics such as the best practices for organizing and building courses, utilizing the grade book effectively, and creating engaging discussions. Day 2 (April 21st) will focus on more advanced features of Blackboard such as providing feedback, utilizing rubrics, creating group work, and building exams.
Led by Instructional Designers Hanna Fife and Maite Saco, this virtual event is part of the Distance Learning Institute’s ongoing series, EdTech Café. This series occurs every third Wednesday & Thursday of the month to assist the University of Miami faculty in creating successful, engaging courses.
