Create Engaging Interactive Digital Narratives with ArcGIS StoryMaps
About this Event
You will learn about ArcGIS StoryMaps, a web-based application that supports your data visualization efforts using text, interactive maps, images, videos, audio and other multimedia content. You will discover how StoryMaps combines maps with different media to support engaging narratives. Learn how to use these tools to enable your audience to easily connect with your research.
No GIS or coding experience is required to create Story Maps, but if you have experience using mapping software (to view mapping workshops schedule visit https://www.library.miami.edu/data-services/workshops.html) you can create custom maps. Story Maps are also great for sharing your projects to a wide audience, because they come with built-in sharing options via LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Facebook. Options to embed your StoryMap in webpages and web shareable links are also available.
