Please join us for the next Sylvester Junior Faculty Lecture Series, where Dr. Defne Bayik Watson, Assistant Professor of Molecular & Cellular Pharmacology, will present her work: Despite clinical success across solid tumors, immunotherapies have had limited impact in improving outcomes in patients with brain tumors. We study host-cancer-immune interactions to define mechanisms of immunotherapy resistance and identify druggable pathways for the effective treatment of brain tumors. Our results suggest that neurotransmitter signaling, immune cell metabolism and epigenetics constitute such targets.
