Founded in 2021, this food pantry serves students, and it needs our support!
For this year's Giving Day, the Miami 'Canes Community will support the Food Pantry on Campus! Join us on April 26th, from 10 to 11:30 am, to donate foodstuffs or funds for our operation and learn about the mission of the UM Food Pantry!
We encourage donations that can be easily prepared in a microwave or consumed directly. Here are some recommended items:
- Microwaveable food items, such as boxed or individual services of mac and cheese, rice , and pasta.
- Nuts
- Canned beans
- Bread
- Peanut butter
- Jelly
- Boxed pasta
- Prepared pasta sauces
- Crackers
- Cereals
- Canned chicken or tuna
- Shelf-stable milks
