About this Event
This session provides information and answers questions about the Fall 2023 Course Mentors Program.
Course Mentors is a peer-based program that is intended to create a community of faculty who support one another in improving their teaching through sharing ideas, experiences, and best practices. Groups consist of a facilitating faculty member, an instructional designer, and participants who meet over the course of a semester in small group discussions to discuss challenges, provide feedback, and create a community. This semester's topics/groups include:
- Boosting Active Learning through Flipped Techniques
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Classrooms
- Rethinking your Assessment Strategy through Ungrading
- Navigating the University as a New Faculty Member
Faculty who are interested in the Course Mentors program should apply by Friday, September 8.
