This workshop aims to provide a basic understanding of the key steps involved in conducting a systematic review and a meta-analysis, with a primary focus on meta-analysis. Meta-analysis is a statistical technique used to combine data from multiple studies on a specific topic to produce an overall estimate. Conducting a meta-analysis is an intensive research process that involves several stages, including literature searching, data extraction, and statistical analysis. This workshop will guide participants through the systematic review and meta-analysis process and highlight the essential steps required to conduct a high-quality study.
